How to specify a wooden tea or coffee box for a bulk order

Check usable compartment size before choosing the layout

Send the width, depth and height of the items you will pack, including wrappers, tags or individual cartons. Tell us the number of items per compartment and how customers will remove them. The usable interior must allow for wall thickness, dividers and lid clearance. A nominal outside size does not establish capsule compatibility. Compare the 12-compartment bamboo box with the acacia tea box with a lower drawer. Confirm the final fit with a pre-production sample rather than relying on a capsule brand name alone.

Choose the wood and finish for the intended use

Select material from physical or approved reference samples when grain and colour matter to a retail range. A decorative wooden box should not be treated as an airtight container for loose coffee or tea. Keep moisture-sensitive contents in suitable sealed packaging, and discuss intended direct food contact before agreeing the finish.

Match the lid to daily access or gift presentation

A hinged window lid suits a visible tea assortment, while a sliding lid gives a gift set a wooden surface for branding. Compare sliding-lid boxes and magnetic wooden boxes if the closure is undecided. Include the intended opening space in your brief, especially for a shelf, counter or hotel tray. A secure closure helps handling, but does not by itself make the box airtight or qualify it as protective transit packaging.

Specify the logo, packing and quantity together

Provide the logo artwork, position, dimensions and order quantity in the same brief. Identify any insert, retail carton or label needed for the finished SKU. For a bundle with mugs, accessories or several retail packs, the wooden gift-packaging range may be a better starting point than a standard tea organizer.
