Compare the sapele dice display box, specified with a sliding lid at 230 × 80 × 30 mm. Send the largest die dimensions, quantity and desired lining; external measurements do not establish compartment fit.

Match small-item boxes to the presentation task

For jewelry, the walnut engagement ring box is a 70 × 60 × 35 mm reference with a ring cradle. Check the setting height and how the ring is removed. The walnut and pine pocket box has a removable lid and a 120 × 70 × 30 mm external reference size. The pine cigar case is specified at 230 × 110 × 40 mm; agree cigar dimensions and lining separately. A magnetic lid and cedar lining do not by themselves create a humidity-controlled humidor.

Define lid movement before choosing the closing feel

Compare sliding-lid boxes when guided movement suits the contents, or hinged boxes when the lid should remain attached. A lift-off lid needs space to set it down. If your brief calls for a larger presentation set or book-style flap, use the gift packaging category as a starting point for a custom specification; do not assume that format is represented by every model here.

Record wood, hardware and finish separately

Agree inspection criteria and any handling or transit checks before production. Specify individual protection and outer packing separately. For routine care, use a soft dry cloth, keep the box away from standing water and direct heat, and confirm care instructions for the chosen coating and lining.
