Shell & viewing area
A framed window shows the contents while a closed lid gives more space for artwork. Compare the window opening, frame width, weight and protection requirements. Confirm the panel material and thickness in the specification.
CHIC / Cigar box collection
Empty wooden boxes and display formats for cigar brands, importers, wholesalers and private-label buyers. Start an OEM or ODM project with a presentation box, a window display or a cabinet format, then define the details around your product.

01 / Start with the job the box must do
The opening, viewing area and way the contents are accessed matter more than a colour name. These references offer different starting points for a custom brief.
| Starting format | Best starting brief | Compare | Approve on the sample |
|---|---|---|---|
| Presentation boxes | A branded pack or a gift presentation. | Lid reveal, logo area and the space needed around the cigars or accessories. | Confirm the packed contents and the protection required during distribution. |
| Display & cabinet designs | A counter display or a compartmented product range. | Viewing area, access through doors or drawers, and the footprint on a counter. | Allow opening space and agree the loaded tray or drawer fit on the sample. |
| Accessory trays | A companion presentation for cigar accessories. | The actual accessory shapes and how items are removed. | Confirm what is supplied; a tray is not an enclosed cigar box or a humidor. |

Discuss an OEM / ODM brief ↗02 / The visible finish is only one layer
A wood-grain surface does not identify its timber species or core. Set out the shell, surface and inner lining separately so two quotations describe the same build.

A framed window shows the contents while a closed lid gives more space for artwork. Compare the window opening, frame width, weight and protection requirements. Confirm the panel material and thickness in the specification.
Natural-looking, patterned and coloured references give different visual directions. Carbon and burl patterns describe appearance here, not carbon-fibre construction or a confirmed wood species. Agree a physical colour and decoration sample before pricing the final finish.
Describe the contact surface, partitions and tray arrangement. Ask for the lining identity separately from the outer construction. Spanish cedar, removable trays and any moisture-management components need model-specific confirmation.
Make the small decisions visible
A reference photograph starts a conversation. A written specification makes it possible to compare suppliers and approve the same product for production.

03 / From an idea to an agreed specification
OEM starts with your specification. ODM starts with a reference and the changes you need. In either case, settle the scope before production. Timing is confirmed against the final design and quantity.
Share its use, reference model, estimated quantity, cigar dimensions or target layout, artwork and destination. Undecided details are welcome.
Agree outer and inner construction, dimensions, finish, hardware, accessory inclusion and packing. Separate samples from the production order.
Check the actual cigars or test pieces, closed-lid clearance, access, drawer movement and decoration. Record revisions and the approved sample.
Use the approved sample and written specification to define inspection points, packing and any project-specific tests before shipment.
A practical approval checklist
Agree inspection points and acceptance criteria alongside the approved sample. Request records for any test that matters to your distribution or storage conditions.

Before you send a brief
This collection presents cigar box and display reference designs. A glass lid, dial or accessory does not by itself demonstrate humidity control. If a humidor is required, specify the intended conditions, lining, humidification system and acceptance test before approving the design. No humidity-retention or airtightness performance is claimed for these references.
The production MOQ is 200 pieces per design for OEM, ODM and production trial orders. Sample-making is discussed separately. Tell us the quantity for each design and whether the artwork or packing varies.
Send cigar length and ring gauge, whether cigars are individually wrapped or tubed, and the required layout. Usable internal dimensions, partitions, tray thickness and lid clearance all affect fit. Confirm the final count with the actual cigars or dimensionally equivalent samples; photographs do not establish capacity.
Yes. Select a reference model and describe its intended use, what you would change, your estimated quantity and destination. For OEM, send your drawing or existing specification. For ODM, use the reference as a starting point and agree the material, dimensions, layout and decoration through sampling.
Specify the outer construction and the inner lining separately in your enquiry. Wood-grain appearance does not identify a species or prove solid-wood construction. Spanish cedar, veneer, core materials and included accessories require model-specific confirmation before they are included in a quotation or specification.
Approve a written specification and physical sample covering external and usable internal dimensions, opening movement, tray or drawer fit, material and lining, finish colour, artwork placement, hardware and packing. Any humidity-control requirement needs its own agreed test. Sample and production timing are confirmed for the agreed project.
